Is there a way to power up the backlight? I have a lcd screen from a laptop that broke but the backlight is fine. I replace the screen with a new one and now I have the old broken one laying around. I just thought it would be cool to power up the backlight. I know there's a plug for power with two wires. Can I plug dc voltage to it or is there some kind of special ballast that is used in the laptop to power it?
