how do I unlock the hard drive on my sons little acer aspire mini laptop. someone stole it and it took a week to get it back. When we did the guy had locked it and now my son cannot get on. What can I do?

What do you mean lock? You can't just lock up a hard drive anyway...unless it's in a safe, I suppose. Please be more descriptive.
