Hot on the heels of Viola 0.7.1 comes Viola 0.7.2! Features include
actually working, with any luck!
Anyway.
Viola is, now as always, a Z-Machine Interpreter written in Python.
It's pretty cool. In addition to hopefully working, it has the following
wonderful features:
Z-Machine Standard 1.0 support, barring bugs.
Support for Z-Machine versions 1 to 8.
Blorb 1.1 support for pictures in z6.
Quetzal save-game format 1.4 support.
Partial support for Kevin Bracey's Blorb Extensions For Infocom Games.
Partial support for the unfinished WIP Z-Machine 1.1 Standard.
Undo (not multiple undo, sadly).
Colours.
Font Styles.
A configuration file, with which one configure setting such as height
and width of the interpreter window, and the Blorb file to use. It is
possible to set default values for these, as well as configure each game
individually by the serial and release numbers.
Uh, bugs. Probably quite a few.
No proportional font.
Um. Possibly some other stuff. I don't remember.
