its screen has lost its top portion with the tabs
and the bottom portion with cpu info

only the middle section shows---where active tasks are listed

help me get it set right thanks

Double click the window border outside list of active tasks.

Double click a border or graph body. Ctrl + Tab changes tabs even if you can't see them. Alt + F4 exits any application incl Task Manager.
