Help with Necrotic Drift

Playing it and loving it, and I suspect I'm close to the end. A few
spoilery questions:

How do I save Casey? I have the blood; all I've figured out to do with
it is give it to the spectre, who promptly vanishes.

What do I do with the revenant? I can send him against various other
baddies with few positive results. He just a big red herring?
(Amusingly enough, if you send him against Syd, he goes to the second
floor even if she's currently blocking the exit. That a bug?)

Virgin? WTF? Where am I supposed to find a virgin to drink water? I've
put water in the urn, I'm presuming none of the members of our party
are virgins, Casey's still out, Syd's no good...I'm starting to try
some pretty wonky ideas, like giving the water to the ghast head or
the skull or the crucified girl. No luck.

Any helpful suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You can't save Casey yet. But I guess you will eventually...

I'm looking forward to the answer to that one.

You're idea with the head is perfectly fine. You can't give the water
to it, but you can put it in it.

Thanks for the help. Won the game (with what I can only assume is the
optimal ending, sigh). Haven't had this much fun in a while, and I
think it's fully deserving of an XYZZY or three.

i've managed to clear the exit of the mall, but i was unable to help casey.

i've only been able to send the revenant towards syd, he refuses to go
for the spectre.

Yes, you can save Casey.

You need the blood to do so.

....

The issue is that the blood has spoiled if you try to leave the mall with it.

....

You need a way to keep it cold.

....

Someone in the mall wants blood and is very cold.

....

Give the blood to the spectre, and he'll return it to you before you leave.
