hi, im having a bazar problem, ive ran hardware diagnostics on the laptop to see if its hardware related and found hardware to be ok...

the problem: when i start the windows setup, after the "press any key to continue" windows starts loading drivers for your pc as needed, right? well just after it displays windows is starting up the computer restarts, no prompts nothing. just restarts.... so i dont even get to the point to choose to do the installation.
ive tried a windows xp & vista installtion...

Any ideas on what this can be? its driving me crazy :pt1cable:

acer travelmate 4200, intel t1400 1.83Ghz 667Mhz FSB 2MB L2 cache,
intel graphics media accelerator, 512MB DDR2 667Mhz, 160GB HDD
