Hi,
I'm trying to reload a game called Soulride, snowboarding, back onto my
computer. I'm having trouble with the GLSetup.117 file it provides because
the website link no longer exists. When I start the game, a dialog box shows
up and in options it shows there's a GLsetup and GLsetup32 file, but it still
won't bring up the game. I've updated my Direct X to 8.0 and my NVidia
driver for NVanta. How can I check to make sure my GLSetup is working or if
I need to get another copy? The game won't complete installation until it
uses this GLSetup file that I can't link to. Other files that use the video
driver appear to work.
Thanks!

Opengl32.dll is part of the Windows OS. However its only purpose is to
detect if there is an ICD provided by the hardware manufacturer and if there
isn't it provides software OpenGL support only. It is likely your game
requires some hardware extension support that your card may not support.
Your best bet is to try www.nvidia.com and see if they offer a driver for
that card still and hope there is an ICD included with it. If there isn't
you will have to look for another card.

Thanks. What is an ICD and how can I get one? The game previously worked on
my computer before I did a complete system restore.

Am ICD is an OpenGL driver written by the manufacturer of the video card
that makes hardware extensions available to applications. To get them you
just need to install the latest driver for your card. If you still have
OpenGL issues after that then chances are real high that your cards drivers
didn't include an ICD.
