Huh? Right now I have remote desktop connections to 2 different computers,
and I have full access to every drive on both computers, and that includes
USB drives and memory sticks.
In a remote desktop session, you should have access to everything on the
computer that you would have if you were sitting in front of it.
to the OP: you might want to temporarily hook up a monitor and keyboard and
make sure those drives are working normally.

When you go to Remote Desktop, click on the Options Button. Click on the
Local Resources Tab. Under Local Devices, do you have them all checked? If
not, check them and see if that helps.
