Hi I'm looking for a good 17" LCD Monitor for gaming. I know CRT is much better for gaming but I have no space for that, so I need an LCD. From what I've read I need a minimun of 12ms response time??

My price range is up to $500

So far I'm looking at these:
*BenQ FP767
*LG L17305

Any advice is welcome

I have a pair of Samsung 173P TFT-LCD monitors and they are outstanding. Resolution of 700:1 and 25ms response time. Cost is between $500 and $600 and definitely worth it. Here's the Samsung link: http://www.samsungusa.com/cgi-bin/ [...] =DI17PSQAQ

25 ms is a high response time for fast paced games, you might end up with mild ghosting.

I have a Nec MultiSync Lcd 1830 I bought a few years ago and its quality is awsome, its response time isnt anything blazing, If you can find a nec within the response parameters you want Id suggest checking one out, the quality of the product and the support is awsome.
