Hey There,

I just purchased a Dell Studio XPS 13 and the first day while running MS updates found it the outside of the case by the processor was heating up to 115F. Too hot to touch. Then third day system crashed. Dell tech rep flashed the bios and updated to A06. It does run cooler but seems to be slower now. Is this my imagination or is it possible they sneakily underclocked my 2.4ghz processor?

Grateful for any feedback.

System is Studio XPS 13 / 4gb ram / 2.4 ghz processor / Vista Home Premium (ugh)
