I'm having problems with windows randomly opening on my computer desktop
while I'm working. I'll be in the middle of working and all of a sudden
windows just start popping up on my screen. Everytime I move my mouse a new
window pops up. For example, my start menu will come up, then if I'm in Word
that window opens, and so on.

I have run virus scans and spyware scans and nothing shows up. The only way
I can get my computer back to normal is to reboot.

Does anyone know what causes this and what I can do about it? Thanks!

Easiest first...
Have you got a spare or old mouse? Or can you borrow one? Try in case your
mouse is faulty.
