Hello guys and gals.

I am looking at two different laptops. They have equal price points and roughly the same specs, the main difference is the CPU/GPU.

Laptop #1: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspag [...] 8044029788
ASUS X83VM-X2, Intel C2D P7450, NVidia GeForce 9600M GS, US$799.99 (Best Buy)

Laptop #2: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6834220520
ASUS F50SV-X1, Intel C2D T6400, NVidia GeForce GT 120M, US$799.99 (Newegg)

Main usage of the laptop would be for schoolwork, office work, and the option for light to medium gaming (honestly trying to get out of that habit). I've been looking around and so far these two have the best specs at this price range.

So which one is the better buy? Is it more important to have a stronger CPU/weaker GPU, or vice versa?

I would get the first one, though you really won't be able to tell the difference.
