Widescreen gaming suggestions needed please

Greetings all,

Building a new SFF system and need some help choosing a good monitor. I'll be using an EVGA 8800 GTS KO. I've narrowed (still open to more suggestions!) it down to these two:

NEC Display Solutions 20WMGX2 20.1" - $600.00

or

DELL 2007WFP 20.1" - $400.00

I'm not limited to just these two monitors and am welcome to any other suggestions. I'd even conisder staying 19" or 20".

I'm also curious as to how good gaming is with widescreens. This will be the first time I've used a widescreen.
