Just curious, I have a Athlon64 3500+ (939) with a MSI K8N Neo 2 mobo along with 1GB of Corsair TWINX-3200c2 memory (2 x 512mb). How can I tell if my system is running dual channel hyper transport so I can acheive 2ghz FSB? Also in my bios it states my cpu core = 2211 mhz and FSB = 200mhz, sound ok?

Could use CPU-Z to verify dual-channel if not shown at post screen. Base-clock, at 200Mhz, is fine. CPU Core-clock is fine.

CPU:

clocks: core speed = 2210.1mhz , Multiplier = 11.0 , HTT = 200.9mhz

Memory:

Type: DDR-SDRAM
Size: 1024 MBytes
Channels # : Single

Timings:

Frequency = 200.9mhz
FSB:DRAM = CPU/11.0
CAS Latency = 2.0 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay = 3 clocks
RAS# Precharge = 3 clocks
Cycle Time (Tras) = 8 clocks
Bank Cycle Time (Trc) = 7 clocks
DRAM Idle Timer = 256 clocks

SPD

Slot#1 =DDR-SDRAM
Module Size = 512 MBytes Correction = None
Max Bandwidth = PC3200 (200 MHz) Registered = no
Manufacturer = Corsair Buffered = no
Part Number = CMX512-3200C2

SPD Timings Table:

Frequency = 200MHz
CAS# Latency = 3.0
RAS# to CAS# = 3
RAS# Precharge = 3
TRas# = 8

ditto for Slot#3.

so can anyone tell me if I'm running dual cahnnel supoort or not. And if not how can I do so? Thanks

Check your mobo manual for dual channel placement. My board requires placement of ram in 1-3 or 2-4 slots or both to engage dual channel. When your pc boots on it will say dual channel if its enabled.
