Realtek HD Audio Manager has stopped working

A month ago, I got my brand new, very nice Aurora R4 Alienware computer. A week after that the Realtek HD Audio Manager stops working every time I start my computer. It is very annoying. I still get sound, although now after trying to troubleshoot it, Vent tells me Direct Sound can't be enabled because it can't find a driver. Which of course is even more annoying.

I have tried contacting Dell (they told me to reset my computer to factory settings.........), I have reinstalled the Driver a couple of times. I still get the same error.

Help me Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!

  1. Uninstall Realtek audio driver and audio manager. Download fresh copies from Dell website for your model and install them.
