I have recently reinstalled my sister's PC with a Via AC'97 Audio Integrated chip. Its only a stereo solution but it came with some sound effects software called Sound Manager which let me add all sorts of environmental effects and change the pitch of the audio. It's a limted alternative to the EAX console that I have on the main PC, which I miss very much when on my sisters PC. It used to be installed on my PC but recently I formatted the PC and installed Windows XP and now the Sound Manager has gone missing. The PC manufatcurer provided no backup disc for the sound manager. Where can I download the sound manager software again so I can have those lovely effects again!
Also if I had a motherboard with a Via AC'97 Audio solution would I be able to use that Sound Effect Manager software on that chip, with all the drivers updated and installed. I got the latest updates from Windows Update and it was recognised as an Avance AC'97 Audio chip even though it reads "Via AC'97 Audio (Wave)" in the Volume Control.
How can I equip my sound card with this useful utility? Please give me the links to download this useful utility! Thanks
