Hi All,

Looking for anyone with experience with Dell Latitude(s).

I recently won 3 dell laptops at a government auction, but they did something to the BIOS. On all 3 systems, the BIOS does not see the hard drive.

I took a known working drive from working Gateway laptop and put it into these Dell, but the BIOS still does not see the hard drive.

I boought a new hard drive and put it into my Gateway, and the Gateway recognized the new hard drive just fine. I then put the new dard drive into the Dell, and once again, the Dell did not see the hard drive.

Is it possible to disable something in theIOS to these Dell not recognize any hard drive?

Thanks

I don't think so, but just flash the BIOS. That shouldn't be a problem if it POSTs
