Hey guys,

a while back my lcd just went black, I thought for sure the monitor was completly dead but looking closely at it I could actually see my desktop very faintly. So I thought for sure it was the backlight.

I ordered 2 of them and after over half an hour of trying to open the damn thing I was finally able to get to the cold cathodes, turns out there are 4 of them..... so could it be that it's the inverter that's dead or should I get 2 more backlights and try that out??

Any help would be greatly appreciated
