I just increase my ram from 512mb to 1.5g using Corsair pc3200. Should I decrease my Page File size? It's was originally set at 1.66g about 1 week ago. I went to check it today and 1.5g has been already used up! Is this normal? I was downloading video files for WinMx all week when this happened. If PF needs to be decreased, then, how would I decrease it without screwing anything else up?

FYI:
Board is Soyo Kt600 Dragon Ultra
AMD Atlon Xp 2500
2 drives (55gig system/boot and 200g video drive)

I have 1.25 Gb of RAM. I have disabled my Pagefile totally, and not noticed any performace / stability problems.

I run 1gig physical and 512 page with no problems.

No one can truly answer this for you though, as every setup is different. I would decrease it in incrememnts, see if you have any trouble, and continue on. Don't just decrease it, reboot and say, oh, it works fine. Do it right, decrease it, test it for a day or two withapps you use that are most resource intensive, to see if it really matters for yoru particular setup.
