Just when I thought that I was beginnig to understand Ram, I notice something else. Some motherboards list Dual DDR, while some just list DDR, and then others list DDR SDRAM. Are these 3 totally different types of memory or for instance does DDR become dual only in a dual setup on a mobo that supports dual setup. I try to read up on this stuff, but only get more confused! Thanks!

DDR is short for DDR SDRAM. A pair of DDR SDRAM can be used on a Dual Channel motherboard. Some companies sell matched pairs for convenience.

Why would you say such a thing. Is there something about thanking someone for their help considered to be insulting? Im sure that I have wasted my time responding to this, but unless you just cant surpress your impulisve disorder (OCD) I would just assume that you not comment to any of my questions. By the way, any doctor can put you on a good Antipyschotic or some form of an SSRI inhibitor to try to help you deal with your issues. Best to you, and keep on hiding behind that computer of yours!

Don't take offense to Ned, he was joking. If you spend enough time here you'll find Ned always tries to inject some humor into the board, so shrug it off, it was joke.

I am new and havent been around long. I have always respected your thoughts and advice. Given that, if I took the comment wrong then I am humble enough to admit that I may have over reacted to his remark. That's only if he was truely just injecting humor into the post. Im somewhat of a smart_ _ _ myself, but not to someone that I have never even had a conversation with. Anyway, I will keep this in mind in the future!

You need to know the rules. It's against THG rules to compliment anyone not running an Intel rig.
