I have a belkin UPS with a USB port that allows the computer to shut down if power goes out. Recently I must have pulled out the cable wrong, since the white center piece of the USB port (like the one on a printer) and the pins inside are all bent up. I tried straightening them but it still didn't work, as expected. I think I'm going to have to buy a port and resolder it if I can, but is there any other way to do it? The warranty is probably over (about 2 years old) and I opened the case up. Thanks for the feedback!
