When I shutdown my system I notice that my optical mouse and power indicator on my internal card reader stay on! Have to flip the switch on my Antec 430 to kill them so I can sleep. Looking for a fix...

Sounds like a wake on mouse feature. Wake on allows certain peripherals to stay powered up while the system is shut down, so you can turn the system on with them. Some boards have a separate jumper to enable and disable the power for wake-on, that would have to be disabled. The feature itself is disabled in BIOS.
