Can i connect my phone to my tv wifi the internet

Hello,
I have a smart tv with wifi
I have a samsung galaxy ace phone with free wifi.
I have moved to a place where I cannot have a landline and the free wifi is only in the bar (could be a problem)
Can I connect my phone and access my free wifi that way and if so what do I need connection wise? Or do I have to try and find the best dongle deal going?

ps. Don't have a clue what I am doing

Your phone does not have "free wifi" by the way, it uses a cell data service which is not WiFi. You better make sure you have unlimited data service or you will go though you data plan with the first HD movie you try to stream.
