hi there, i have a question. i recently upgraded from pc2700 to pc3500. when running cpuid, it said my old ddr333 ram had "performance mode" enabled, but this brand new 2x512 OCZ dual channel pc3500 has "performance mode" disabled. Is that a bad thing. if so, please let me know how i can enable it.!!!! thanks so much.

Performance mode usually means running the RAM at lower timings, which is good.
You enable it in mobo BIOS...
