I'm getting a new computer form dell and i was going to get a laptop with these specs.

RAM:2G DDR2
GPU: Dual 8800m GTX
HARD DRIVE:160GB7200RPM

My question is what cpu do i get The T9300 or the T8300? Will it make much of a difference when im gaming?

The extra 100mhz of the T9300 will probably not be noticeable and certainly not worth the extra money. Are you open to other companies to buy from and if so, what is your price range? Dell hasn't updated the XPS very much and there are newer technologies out (ie faster RAM and better graphics cards).

Yeah, I didn't realize that Dell had dropped the price of the M1730 so much. The last time I saw, that configuration would have run you about 2K. And yeah, I don't trust ibuypower or cyberpower at all. Hence why I bought a Sager.
