Hi.

I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 and am trying to use a Belkin USB mouse plugged into my Acer laptop.

On start-up the mouse doesn't function but I am able to use the touchpad to control the system.

However, if I unplug the mouse and then re-plug it in (with the system still running), it initializes properly and then it works fine.

How can I make the mouse work normally when first booting-up the system - [without having to unplug it and then re-plug it in].

Many thanks for your assistance.

TC.
