I need a widescreen lcd monitor that performs best with movies.

This is my no.1 priority! No spreadsheets or Gaming just movies!

I want the impossible True blacks, massive contrast ratios and perfect colour.

also a monitor that doesnt change every 10 degrees.

Size isn't important (19" fine) but doing 720p is a must (i don't need 1080p)

I've been looking at dell LCDs as this is all I really know. I find video playback of adverts amazing but dark scenes like opening of matrix awful.
(p.s. I notice this on most flat TV's at the moment why do people buy em'?)

Anyone know what I need?

Hello

the best monitors for movies are the wide ones but size 19 is to small you should go to size 20 or 22 .

size 20

ViewSonic VP2030b

Nec 20WGX²

Samsung SyncMaster 215TW

size 22

those are the best monitors at the moment the 20 are better then the 22 because they use better technology(I-SPS or P-MVA).

which is better then the 22 technology(TN).

but on the 22 you will see bigger.

forget abot DELL because of the "panel lottery"
