Well I've had a wired optical Kensington mouse (the silver one with black grips on the sides) for a couple years now and it's been a big upgrade from my roller ball. I just built a new computer and decided to get a new keyboard and mouse, since this mouse started becoming a little inaccurate. I'm incredibly selective about my keyboard layout and also desired wireless this time around, for many reasons. I know the technology has become stable even for twitch gaming, so I wasn't worried.

I found this combo, it's black and blue and it absolutely perfect, but there's just a small problem of both the keyboard and mouse not syncing properly. They both cut out for a split second or so and then work for a little while again, and it isn't a HUGE deal, but it's something that impacts my typing and gameplay enough.

I've synced them a bunch, and will continue trying, but I'm wondering if there are any specifics like tweaks or hacks or simple tips that anyone can give me to fix the problem, or at least better it. I have the receiver hooked solely into the USB in the back of my computer and right in front of my keyboard and mouse, have tried different locations all over my desk, on top of my subwoofer, tower, etc., in fact I'm going to try a different slot, but I don't believe that to be the case since I noticed the red laser at the bottom of the mouse blinks when it cuts out and doesn't work. If anyone has any ideas or has used this themselves I greatly appreciate anything you can tell me. The model number (on the mouse, but I believe that in a search it would give you the keyboard and mouse package) is: 64379 Thank you again!
