My mums Notebook (dammit forget the make! - will post it later) is having trouble with the serial mouse so I wanted to enable the mouse tablet pad again from bios, although I see no prompt for 'delete' or 'ctrl-alt-s' or anything when the computer first boots.
is there a fool proof fix for this ? In the meantime I'll find out the make.
When the computer first boots up you will probably have a blinking cursor in the top left corner of the screen.
When you see the cursor try pressing F1 or F2 or the Delete keys.
it could be an older notebook, many of them do not have a way to access the bios.
