Can anyone tell me if there is a history of problems with the hard drives Dell installsin thier systems. This Dell is about 1 1/2 yrs old, a 2.4 gig cpu, the hard drive s listed in the system as a WDCWD1200JB-75CRAO. This system seems to take forever now to load up saved games from games like Medal of Honor and Black Hawk Down. Thanks Warb the Snap!!

Could need to be purged checkdisk and defragged.
Also as you fill a drive, the outer fills first, which has that maximum thoughouput performance, saves the last for the inner slower fill.
So an almost drive will feel slow if more than 60% full.

It's common for drives to become cluttered from USE.

I'd do the following:
1.) Download Ad-Aware SE and delete all the files it reports.
2.) Go to <A HREF="http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp" target="_new">http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp...;/A> and do a virus scan
3.) make sure you have all the patches installed for your Windows OS, I'm guessing you have XP so you'll probably want Service Pack 2 (even if it sucks).
4.) defragment your hard drive.
