Hi ive been using a 19" CRT for several years and am finally deciding to upgrade to a widescreen LCD. I primarily play games, so quality is important to me.

There are 3 LCDs im currently looking at, and would like to spend under 300$

You say: "I primarily play games, so quality is important to me" and I say "I primarily do graphic work so quality is important to me" :D
As of now, all 22" widescreen panels on the market are TN+film type so they are more of your quality than mine. They are good gamers panels but not suitable for any serious photo work. Of the monitors you mention my 1-3 choice would be:
1. Viewsonic
2. Samsung
3. BenQ
