Hi-

My nephew is asking me for help on looking for a laptop so he can play his favorite games but I'm not into games. They are the following...

Star Wars Republic Commando,
Star Wars Empire At War,
Star Wars Empire At War Forces of Corruption Expansion.

His dad won't let him install them on any of their desktops because he claims it crashes them all.

His budget is probably around $700 to $1000.

He was asking me about the HP G70t which sells for $779.00.

I had suggested possibly the MSI GX630-028US which sells for $785.

* 2.0 GHz Athlon Dual-Core Processor
* 4 GB Memory
* 250 GB Hard Drive
* Windows Vista Home Premium
* 15.4-Inch WSXGA+/WXGA ACV Display (1280X800), NVidia 9600 GT Graphics (512MB DDR3)

Would either laptop be sufficient for his games. I was thinking with the MSI he could play some new games too. Does anyone have any other suggestion for a gamin laptop in his price range?

thank you

The MSI is much better than the HP. I'd go for that. With a 9600, it's pretty good.
