Hello, I'm looking for some advice - my HP ZD7000 laptop went into hibernate, and will not power back up on now. When I push the power button, the power light will light up for half a second and the hard drive will begin to spin up, but then the laptop turns itself off before anything can be output to screen.

I have tried running it just off the mains with no battery plugged in, but it does the same thing. I have also tried leaving the battery out for a few days and still the laptop does the same thing when I try to power it up.

Any ideas?

IMO, it may be caused by the problem of heat dispeling, or something wrong with the mainboard .
you'd better take your HP ZD7000 to HP Laptop repair shop, as you are not a expert of maintaining laptop.
