Nexus 7 vs Ipad Mini

I am going to buy a tablet and now i cant decide between the ipad mini and the nexus 7. The i pad mini has the apple os and the huge app store. the nexus7 has a better cpu and is cheaper and has a built in gps. What do you think? i would be buying the basic wifi only version.
Nexus 7 32gb- $250
Ipad Mini 16gb- $329

The only reason I'd chose the iPad is if you really want the Apple ecosystem. The Nexus7 specs better all around and will have the latest Android 4.2.1 (or later).

I prefer nexus 7. Better screen and lower price, why not?
