Network DOS 5/Windows 98 SE

This might not be the right place but there's no DOS board.
I have a 286 Toshiba (T1200XE) laptop running DOS 5. Is there any software or dos software that will let me network it to Win 98 SE. I heard you can use the printer port for a connection.
I really have no idea - any info will be great.

PS - I wouldn't believe a 286 laptop existed either if I didn't have one : o)
