Does anybody knows if one can have two sound systems running on a pc at the same time (and operating). Usually in xp/start/control panel/sound one can chose one of several, but only one can operate at a time. I'd like to use one (bluetooth sound system) running for sound coming to and from a headset through a bluetooth dongle, and another for sound coming from media player, tv etc.
Thanks in advance

It really sounds like you want to direct certain sound sorces to certain outputs. If that's the case, then I'd say yes, you can do that. I do that alot, using my AC97 for everyday use and a MOTU 828 firewire audio interface for multitrack recording and playback, and I use Win2K. I would hope XP can do the same.
