  1. Start at www.amd.com
  2. Seriously? You ever think to try ati.com??
  3. I had a 9200 agp ages ago. Latest driver for xp was 7.99 CCC. Try vista drivers by installing with vista compatiblity mode.
  4. Did you look? They don't have a Vista/7 driver. XP is as far up as drivers go.

I'm guessing the MSFT supplied driver is only for basic use. You'll need to upgrade the GPU if you want hardware acceleration.
  5. I've tried this and it really worked - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgs053cHna8 :)

Before the drivers for my ATI Radeon 9250 were crashing and making BSOD (blue screens of death) but with these instructions everything started working normally and the radeon 9000 series was installed properly on my windows 7. Maybe it will work for others too.

ati XDDM driver 6.14.10.6606 dated 8/15/2006 - i had to install this driver to get my radeon mobility 9000 igp to work with windows 7. it gives me full resolution and video plays just fine.

This worked for my Dell Latitude D600 running Windows 7. I had to manually install the driver software, however once this was accomplished the display is now fully functional.
