A person I know has a compaq laptop that is not working after some liquid was spilled on it. Is it possible to replace motherboards and such in a laptop? The laptop is approx. 1 1/2 years old. I advised them to contact compaq for repair...is it worth it?

if you can find a new main board and have the skill to replace it and it will be cheaper than a new one then go for it. probably cheaper/easier to just buy a new notebook tho

Treat your body like a $600 car. God didn't intend it to last so use it. Run it into the ground!
