help with theater

im playing theater and got stuck and the one walkthrough i found isnt
much help. i cant figure out how to get past the shadow in the orcestra
pit. i tried wearing the amulet, not wearing the amulet, i even empied
my inventory and tried again and still no luck....can anyone tell me
what i am missing?

Have you completely searched the manager's office?

The hint system, apparently... (Just type "hint" at the prompt.)

If you don't want to use the hints, then think about what a shadow is:
absence of light. You need to bring a source of light with you.

Obviously, since he has reached the orchestra pit. You're thinking
about the wrong puzzle.

someone else had the same problem as me and i found out what i needed
......the walk through never said anything about getting a camera but it
tells you to use it... i found out where it was though i knew something
was up with that huge portrait
