Im looking to purchase a new laptop hard drive, as mine runs EXTREMLY hot(as in I cant even put my hand on my mouse pad hot.) I have a DV2000 if anyone is curious, and it's a WD scorpio blue 250gb

Check out some of the new SSD drives. They are more expensive, but they are generally faster than conventional disks and use less power (thus generate less heat). SSD drives are also totally silent as there are no moving parts.
