Desperate here- basic stuff and it won't work!!

Basically I have a nice new PC. Been using it for a few months now.
Had Windows 7 Ultimate x64 installed on it.
(SSD = Corsair Force 3)

Yesterday I experienced some strange behavior on it and decided to reformat.
I go ahead and create a bootable USB via downloading English x64 like I did when I first installed it on here:

I then go ahead and use CMD to make the USB bootable.
I got an error code 0x8007045D.

So I try again with a different USB stick and use the win 7 to USB tool
Same issue.

I try again with the win 7 x64 professional edition.
Same issue

I honestly don't know what else to do. This is basic and I expect it to work however it's all gone rather pear shaped.
I really don't know what else to do!

Please help me?!?!?!?!?

There a new firmware for corsair Force3 (5.02) if u intrested (btw it need to be flashed with windows sata/AHCI controller/driver).

Back to topic: did u set it to boot from USB in the BIOS ?

U just copy all files in the installation disk to USB (all hidden/system/etc included), and set it to boot from USB in the BIOS...

Mind telling us what the "strange" behavior is? Why take a hammer to fix a problem solved with a piece of tape .
Just interested, reformatting should be the last resort.

Sounds like an unlicensed version of windows to me.

I'm betting you tried to run the tool from the USB stick. Copy it to your desktop or another drive and run it from there.
