Windows 7 won\'t shut down after installing programs!!

I bought a new asus laptop with windows 7 and when i load any program on it! it will not shut down through start menu i have tried to install in different order no help whats wrong!!

I don't understand.

You bought a new laptop. It shut down fine at first.

Then you installed some programs on it and it would not shut down any more from the start menu.

So you uninstalled these "programs" and then you could shut down OK.

So, you installed these "programs" in a different order and now it won't shut down again?

Is that right?

its any program . like java my printer drivers adobe reader x Idont think space is any problem. so far by uesing system restore is fixing it.

How about install it one at a time and see if maybe one of them is the problem.

Strange issue. New laptop.... I would return it. Get a new one.

So, it still fail if only one thing is install. e.g. the printer driver only?
Did you check the event log.

yes it still happens and. and as for the event viewer theres 154 entrees to bad i don't know what i'm looking at . thanks trying to help. i think i'm taking it back tomorrow!

Try to show those bad entries in event viewer as support for your claim... (at least ask them fix it for u / give a info how to do it.)

Hi guys i sent the laptop in don't know what they have found yet have to wait and see. they say three day turn around even if they have to replace it.I agree that all the errors should solid the claim some say any hickup and it tag's it so they should be able read it ! they built it ha ha ha.
I will let you know when i do.nice forum all good replies thank you.
