Laptop for running HD videos?

Am planning to buy a laptop that i would mainly use for regular tasks (watching pictures or movies, internet..etc) .. but what concerns me is HD videos as i believe the laptop might struggle if it wasnt strong enough to run them. I have seen many laptops with the these specs: intel core 2 duo , and intel graphics accelerator x1300 which ,as i read in many forums, is not suitable for running games as a graphics card. So, should i be aiming for a better graphics card like Geforce 8400 or the x1300 would suffice?
