I no longer am able to right click on a file in windows explorer and
bring up the menu at the cursor. (cut, paste, copy, properties, etc)
I'm not sure how long ago it quit. about 3 months ago I think. Anyone
know how to fix it. Thank you.

Here are a lot of links to help with quirky right-click issues. I would
start with MVP Kelly Theriot's solutions:

Run line 56 (right hand side):
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
More info here: Taskbar Repair Tool Plus! -
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/taskbarplus!.htm

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers -
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm
Right-click is extremely slow only when Network is enabled -
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/rcdelay.htm
Right click causes an error and crashes Explorer.exe after installing
Windows XP SP2 - http://www.winxptutor.com/sp2/divxcrash.htm
Slow right-click and other issues -
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm
Manage the context-menu entries for folders, drives and Namespace
objects - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/context_folders.htm

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Look in the right pane for a value called NoViewContextMenu. If it exists, double click the NoViewContextMenu entry and set it to 0 (zero).
