OK, so my bank offers the ability to deposit checks using a smart phone camera and I guess you somehow login to their mobile website they have just for smart phones and you can upload your check image and it's free (I think) if you do less than 20 checks per month which describes my level of usage when it comes to making deposits.

Only one problem... I don't use smart phones and have no need. I don't even text.
I use an older Nokia (no camera) that is a very tough phone, it's simple, gets great reception which works great for me cause all I do is talk only. Not interested in gettin all fancy with more electronics than my PC.

So, my question is... is it possible to emulate this app that my bank has to put on your smart phone... on a PC, so I can basically use my scanner to obtain the check image and upload it to their mobile website?

Just thought I'd ask... my other option is to get their scanner that is designed to work with your PC and that costs $40 per month. Just thought I'd see if there was a way to be cheap about this before spending $40 a month and.... not having to drive to the bank would save the planet :sol:  garnering point with the green peace babes out there!
