Sata + Raid0

I'm planning on building a new rig in the near future.
I'm thinking of going with a ATI radeon RX480 based mobo
that supports 4 sata drives.

This machine will mainly be used for games and I was wondering will a raid0 provide any significant improvement?
If it will, how do I go about setting it up? Do I need to get a raid card or can I use a software raid setup?

Software onboard RAID does not help in gaming, in fact, the CPU overhead used for striping hurts the performance.
RAID 0 best strength is in copying large files, as with video.

Looks like I wont worry about raid.
That makes things a lot easier.
