problem with ACPI BIOS and Win XP professional Tags: BIOS Computers Shutdown Windows XP Last response: July 22, 2002 4:34 PM in Windows XP Share milvlada July 14, 2002 2:56:00 PM I have problem when I shutdown Windows xp.I here 3 clicks from my case and then computer shutdown(or restart) problem is the same.After that when i power on my computer scandisk turns on like I didn't shutdown computer properly.In the events viewer section I got 4 massages in the time of shutdown where stand that problem is with ACPI BIOS who tried to write to an illegal address.I upgraded the BIOS but problem is stil there.I have Microstar BX Master motherboard and BIOS version 5.6 instaled which I downloaded from your site.
