I have an excellant ViewSonic VX2035wm computer monitor that I received as a gift from my daughter. I cannot find anything wrong with it except for a frustrating concern. It seems when I first turn it on, the post's are in large letters and run beyond the border. The same is in the CMOS. My resolution is set at 1680x1050 as suggested and I believe the Asus P4800c deluxe resolution remains at 800x600. Are there any work arounds to adjust this infraction or does anyone have an idea or answer for this. My games and Office displays are exceptionally good. The only thing is when I start or reboot the computer I have to look at very large text. Thanking you all kindly: Frank!

it could just need to be sized/calibrated to fit screen when booting at 640x480 16bit res... after windoze loads, then you are probably running a higher res which already had the position set for that res.
This is done with the monitors OnScreenDisplay contorls (OSD not OCD)

Thank you for the response. I have been pushing buttons for the past week, and haven't found a way to adjust this problem. I am going to live with this and hopfully when it is time to upgrade my motherboard. the solution will be apparent. Maybe someone else has the same problem and has found a way ti fix it. Thanks again for the resonse. Frank!
