Allright my dad wants to buy a laptop! :sol: BUT we don't know which one... :whistle: We are from Denmark. So here's what we want:

Budget: About 1000-1100$

Size: That doesn't really matter... But not too big!

Battery: He wants it to keep up pretty long say maybe 2-4 hours... If it's possible for that price.

Use: He wants to use the laptop for surfing on the internet, watch movies and music. Yeah just basic stuff no gaming or so.

HDD: Well... Not too small at least 160GB

He also wants some good design. (Of course if you can get it to that price) Aaand that's about it I think...

We've been looking on a Samsung R510 AS01. We don't have a link because we can't find it on an american web site.

Basically, any laptop out there will meet your need just get one with dual core CPU in order to have better multitasking and about 2gb Ram is sufficient. Only thing you have to do now is search for a laptop which you find that has a good design. Check out the websites I listed below.

Is the price for the Samsung R510 AS01 around $1000? Are these the specs?

If it costs $1000 then I wouldn't say it's a good deal but if you're attracted by its design then sure that one is good enough just get at least 2gb ram for smoother operation.

That one looks really really good! But can't seem to find it on any danish web site... And the reason to that we're only looking on danish web sites is cause they have special letters: æ ø å
