Compaq presario 2005 cd disk problem

I can not put the disk in, it will not open the disk player, thank you Lisa

Most CD drives have a small hole on the face of the drive just under the CD tray... if your has it, you can use an extended medium size paper clip to open it.

Extend one end of the clip as straight as possible to about 2 to 2.5 inches, and insert it in the small hole under the CD tray, and push to force the tray mecanism open... this mecanism is made of plastic so there is no chance of damaging anything.

Once open the CD tray may work with the push button for a while before getting stuck again... so keep the clip wire handy
